Easter at Sorley's

Bubbles

Grandma reads Hans Christian Andersen (unedited). The kids were not scarred.

Crazy photo time just before we left.

Aspirations

I've given much of the morning to the family - helping the Littles get ready and breakfasted.  I did the dishes, then sat down with them for a bit of homeschool.  I was ready for a few minutes with the computer to find a project regarding Easter, and maybe request books for our next Country unit.  As I'm sitting at the computer, Maggie is bellowing for me; "MOM!"

She'd used the potty and needed cleaning up.  After cleaning her up, she states; "Mom, you're the best mom of cleaning up poop."

If you feel like a crappy parent, maybe your aspirations are too high ....

Tooth Fairy

Paraphrasing...

Grandma Darlene: Are you going to leave your tooth for the Tooth Fairy?

Jack: The Tooth Fairy is mythical.

Jack's Train

Jack is getting logical and crafty when it comes to the Thomas the Tank Engine track layout. Here's his latest effort which he did all on his own.

Not sure if this was before or after he helped Grandpa David shovel the driveway.

Looks like it is shortly before he lost his [first] tooth! (note the gap of looseness)
