I told Jack that Daddy was coming home soon and asked if he would be happy to see him. He said yes. I replied that Daddy would be happy to see him too. The remainder of the conversation follows;
Jack: "Why?"
"Because he loves you."
"Why?"
"Because you're his son."
"Why?"
"I don't want to go into that right now."
I guess we're entering the "why" stage.
